Guys,

thanks for the reports. I fish IBSP area and I appreciate knowing when bait is heading our way from up north. Please let me know when you have peanut bunker schools moving thru.

I haven't seen them outside yet, but I can tell you they have left the Matawan Creek.

We had them thick in here all summer long and now they have gone missing.
I must say that I am very worried about them : )

They should be heading your way soon.

Good luck and catch um up.

We had very little bait today in IBSP so I may have to head north some. We do have loads of spearing in the wash and I am catching fluke in with them. Yesterday we had lots of adult bunker. Maybe I'll try Deal if you send me a pm with the info? Thanks, Charlie

I was at atlantic highlands marina on Friday and the peanuts were in there thick. Would think they would spill out of there soon.

The guy I work with has been seeing lots of bait down in Deal and has been doing very well down there.

Last weekend he worked thru the weather and mugged um. Those bass love the NE wind.

He was fishing the lee side of the jetties. He tried clams and found that all they wanted was plugs and metal.

On the other hand I have heard that clams are out fishing anything else in the bay. Go figure :confused1:

I will be out tomorrow and Sat. We may run down the beach if we can't find anything in the bay.

I will let you know if we see any bunker.

Don't let the winds dictate when you go. I was told that last Sunday was better then Saturday and it was blowing much worse on Sunday. Just make sure to wear your rubber suit.
