Took advantage of the beautiful day and headed out for the first tog trip of the year. Started out in 60 foot of water and had fish right away. Most of the fish were in the 3 to 5 lb range and the biggest fish hit the scales at 7. Fished that spot for about 2 hours and easily limited out the 4 guys we had aboard along with throwing back a load of fish. Headed out to fish 90 foot of water the fishing was slower we did manage about 10 ling a bunch of doggies and two codfish fish. they cod were 8 and 12 lbs all and all a great day.

DOug,
Did you see any Cod inshore? I heard some rumors of cod in the 50-70 ft depths.

Hey Guys,
I didnt see any cod inshore auctually we didnt see much beside blackfish and a few bergals and luckily only one doggie. Didnt get a chance to use any of the new numbers just hit couple of my regular spots.
I just cant wait to get out again. This weekend I am getting the boat better organized and a few minor repairs hopefully I will be out new week or weekend
