To heat up shortly down here....The water temp is hovering around the mid to upper 40's in some parts....I will be out shortly with clam bellies trying to find some resident stripers!

I was going to head out this past Saturday to check the Maurice River. Too cold for bass, but was going to try for herring and perch.
Unfortunately, I got sidetracked at the Elks lodge.

At least you caught something Bern! Even if, the two things you caught were:
1. A buzz :drink:
2. Hell from your wife for coming home loaded.
Shouldn't be long for bass to start showing up looking for those herring and perch.

It was the other short guy from Millville who made me go to the Elks.
Supposed to be 60 this Saturday - it ashame the river froze the last couple days and temps have dipped.
